The Hotel is located a few yards from the Medici Chapel in the famous Basilica of San Lorenzo, known for the New Sacristy where Michelangelo sculpted some of his greatest masterpieces, 50 metres from the cathedral and within easy walking distance from the city’s most important museums.

EXPRESS ROADS 

From the highway (autostrada) follow the signs for the historic centre and Santa Maria Novella railway station. Near the Fortezza da Basso, take Viale Spartaco Lavagnini and at the first traffic light turn right into Via Santa Caterina d’Alessandria.
Go across Piazza Indipendenza as far as the end of Via Nazionale. From here, enter Piazza Stazione, where you turn right into Piazza Adua. Turn right and go along Via Cennini until you come to 7 Via Faenza where you will see the Hotel Accademia.
The hotel can be reached by car. It does not have its own garage but is affiliated with one nearby.

RAILWAYS 

The central train station of Santa Maria Novella is just a 10-minute walk away from Hotel Accademia.
Otherwise you can take a private taxi and reach the hotel in 5 minutes.

AIRPORTS 

From Florence airport you can take a private taxi or the shuttle bus that stops right in front of Santa Maria Novella Central Station. From there go to your left along the railway to Piazza Adua and then turn right along Via Cennini until you come to 7 Via Faenza, where the Accademia Hotel is located.
